ALCHEMY FROM THE DEEP
Listening, Moving & Being with the Compass of Wholeness

A Solstice At-Home Immersion with Marcella Bottero

Dear Friends in the River of Life,

2022 is approaching its completion and we are getting closer to the longest night of the year, the Winter Solstice if you are in the Northern Hemisphere.

For me the Solstice is a very meaningful time. A time where darkness and its inherent stillness invite me to slow down enough to shine light onto what needs to be released and what needs tending with the intention of planting those seeds in fertile soil to “incubate”.
Peter Kingsley in his book In the Dark Places of Wisdom reminds us: “Healing in the ancient world had a great deal to do with states of suspended animation. It was all tied up in a clumsy-sounding word: incubation.” (Pg 79)

I have found Continuum to be the most conducive practice to slow down enough to re-member the wholeness we have never been apart from regardless of circumstances. By allowing our wholeness to be the compass during our time of incubation, by inviting sounds to resonate through our bodies, by becoming intimate with our breath and all its expressions and by following the movement choreography of our fluid body without expectations or preconceptions we HEAL ourselves from the inside out.

I invite you to join me to celebrate this Winter Solstice in community.
Finding time to slow down and incubate amidst the hectic pace Holidays impose on us allows for a more meaningful engagement with self, loved ones and the world at large.

Looking forward to being with you exploring the alchemy of incubation!

Warmly,
Marcella

“Each undulation, every ripple, every exhale into the welcoming dissolve is a message from a greater world. It conveys its story through the felt sense of movement, sensation, and perhaps feeling tones that we are yet to name. But more than anything it allows us to merge our consciousness with it. I call this “the cosmic drowning.” When immersed in the holy spirit of water we become truly unified. Wholeness is the teacher. Wholeness informs.”

Emilie Conrad, Life on Land, pg 11
