“There is an overall tidal movement of the whole body, a coming in and ebbing out. It is as if the whole body, functioning as a unit, is responding to a force similar to that moving the tides in the ocean. It is a rhythmic movement within all the fluids in the body. It is more powerful, in its quiet way, than any other physiological functioning within the body mechanism, more important and more powerful than the respiratory cycle, the voluntary, or the involuntary movements, or any of the other movements we ordinarily consider.”

~ Rollin Becker, D.O., Life in Motion, pg 27

Dear Friends in the Fluid Field,

The impetus for this invitation emerged from remembering my years of scuba diving in the Red Sea.

If you have ever had the privilege to scuba you know what I mean. Once under water time and space disappear. Colors change dramatically as you go deeper. Silence permeates your whole being. Buoyancy allows freedom of expression and movement from the depths of our watery bio-ancestral origins. A deep listening of my inner rhythms effortlessly emerges.

When I do a Continuum “dive” I feel the same sensations and experiences as during a scuba experience.

I invite you join me on August 7th for an immersion and inquiry into silence and its fluid expression with the tools Continuum offers. Breath, audible or silent. Micro and macro expressions of inner movement. Deep listening to the language of sensations. Time and space to luxuriate discovering our own rhythms from inside out.

Looking forward to diving together!

Warmly,
Marcella

PS: Because of the structure of the day and the intention to spend longer time “under water”, there will be no instruction on Basic Principles of Continuum. Continuum experience is required for this event. The next At-Home Immersion is in September!
