Dear Friends in the Fluid Field,

I write to you in the midst of a rainfall in Southern California like nothing I have witnessed in the 30+ years I have lived here.
Everything is green! The brown tint that surrounded us during the many years of draught we endured is gone. Growth and emergence are everywhere!

I cannot help but to reflect on the teachings of RESILIENCE Nature offers and how we all express them in ourselves.

During the draught our roses kept blooming, our irises opened in their exquisite delicacy, poppies kept popping all over the garden overjoyed in their orangeness.
Despite the harsh conditions they rebound, they sprang back yearning to shared their essence, their wholeness with all of us willing to receive them.

Regardless of who we are, our ethnicity, our culture of origen, our ancestry, our direct family system….ALL of us…ALL of us have encountered “harsh conditions”.
Many of our adaptive patterns have emerged from less than optimal conditions.
Many of the patterns we are “efforting” to change have emerged from what we have endured.
Many of our rigid patterns have allowed us to be who we are today.
We have all manifested RESILIENCE and are immersed in the mysterious process of becoming….more human, broader, less bound by…., more inclusive.

“The reason for repetition is that in order for anything to complexify or
penetrate through rigid layers of habit, it is necessary to generate enough
flow and initial resiliency first. Once we accumulate a certain degree of
receptivity we are ready for another layer of penetration. In a sense the
penetration is titrated, apportioned very slowly in order for the organism to
adjust to new information.”

Emilie Conrad, Life on Land, p. 342

I have found nothing like CONTINUUM to enter into the deeper layers of inquiry of what it means to be resilient.
Continuum offers an invitation to pause and slow down.
Continuum offers an invitation to touch our bodies with our own hands igniting all the senses in unpatterned ways.
Continuum offers an invitation to meet each breath we take with freshness and curiosity.
Continuum offers an invitation to use sounds as audible breaths to penetrate our deepest layers of holding.
Continuum offers an invitation to respond and move with our body sensations in unconventional and unexpected ways finding pleasure moment to moment.
Continuum offers an invitation to dive into the Mystery, into the unknown and return changed for ever!
Continuum opens the doors to have a full body experience of resilience.

Please join me in April to explore RESILIENCE with Continuum!
A group of committed and experienced practitioners are part of our Year-Long adventure creating a safe container for new students to join and reap the benefits of diving deep.
We look forward for you to join our circle!

Warmly,
Marcella
